Managing Director and Lead Instructor
Leading the staff is Coach Richard D. Moncrief, a native of Montgomery, Alabama, who has more than 25 years of experience as a student athlete, coach and football fanatic. Moncrief was named an All State quarterback at Jefferson Davis High School and signed an athletic scholarship to Clemson University. He participated in four bowl games as a student athlete, including the Coca-Cola Bowl in Tokyo, Japan, where he was named MVP and the 1993 Peach Bowl, where he was the Texaco-Havoline Scholar Athlete. His 1991 team won the Atlantic Coast Conference championship.
Coach Moncrief has experience as a head coach and athletic director on the high school level and position coach and offensive coordinator at the collegiate level. Fueled by his passion to help athletes master their craft and develop their leadership skills, he developed the Richard Moncrief Quarterback Institute (RMQI) in 2010 to share his love of the game and help others play to win.
During this time, he has worked to improve the skill set of athletes at all levels. Some of his most notable clients include:
