This year’s NFC and AFC championship games will feature four quarterbacks whose names are as recognizable as the teams for whom they play. The AFC championship game highlights two of the all time greats - Brady vs P. Manning. Tom Brady is the owner of three Lombardi trophies and has his eye on number four to add to his trophy case. Peyton Manning is coming off a record setting season in which he passed for 55 touchdowns and 5,477 yards. Manning’s Super Bowl title came as an Indianapolis Colt, and if Denver captures this year’s title, he would be the only quarterback in NFL history to do so. Likewise, the NFC championship game features young guns who are reaching elite status with every touchdown pass. Colin Kaepernick, this year’s undisputed leader of the San Francisco offense, is as lethal with his arm as he is with his legs. He is poised to lead his team to a return Super Bowl trip. His rival in this week’s game, Russell Wilson, is the diminutive leader of the Seattle Seahawks. He plays with the savvy of a ten-year veteran, is extremely mobile and has outstanding accuracy. Yes, this year’s divisional championship games should be both entertaining and classic matchups between the traditional pocket passer and the more mobile version. Quarterback fans and football purists...GAME ON! Play to Win…No Excuses!
